Rotary is dedicated to service and the FM-AM Club is no different. For the last three years, we have sent a team of Rotarians and community members to Guatemala. These teams have built a medical clinic and school, constructed a nature trail and participated in a water project. Project ideas for 2010 are in the works right now.

Each summer, the club sponsors students to participate in the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA). This is a program for young people that provides outstanding young leaders a variety of educational and recreational activites in an atmosphere where they are exposed to the opportunities and challenges of leadership.

The FM-AM Club, along with the other Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo Rotary clubs, are working with the Fargo Park District to create the Rotary Playground. This amazing playground will be accessible to children of all abilities. Area businesses have joined with Rotary to make this playground a reality.

Youth Exchange is an important Rotary program. For several years, the FM-AM Club has sponsored an incoming foreign exchange student. We have an opportunity to send a local student on an exchange.
